NOV|2018 - Digital Activation for Vogue Arabia at Dubai Mall
Created for Vogue Arabia, this project formed part of the landmark Vogue Loves Fashion Avenue celebration at Dubai Mall, a 10-day immersive event marking a decade of the iconic fashion destination.
As part of the wider exhibition, The Diigitals created a short-form digital film and supporting visual content series designed to extend the experience of the installation into the digital space, bridging physical fashion storytelling with virtual production.
The activation sat within a broader programme that transformed Fashion Avenue into a multi-sensory fashion environment, bringing together global designers, industry leaders, and cultural figures through talks, performances, and immersive installations. Within this context, the digital work acted as an extension of the exhibition’s visual language, translating the energy of the event into a CGI-driven fashion narrative.
The Diigitals’ contribution explored how fashion can exist simultaneously across physical and digital platforms, where location-based experiences are amplified through virtual storytelling. The film echoed the atmosphere of the Dubai Mall installation, capturing the sense of scale, luxury, and cultural convergence that defined the event.
By reinterpreting an in-person fashion celebration through digital production, the project highlights the evolving relationship between editorial content, experiential marketing, and virtual media. It demonstrates how fashion storytelling can expand beyond traditional formats into hybrid spaces that merge real-world events with digital worlds.
The result is a visual extension of Vogue Loves Fashion Avenue, designed to amplify its reach and preserve its atmosphere, transforming a landmark fashion activation into a lasting digital experience.
