SEP|2020 - Christian Louboutin Virtual Activation
This project explores the intersection of luxury fashion, gaming culture, and virtual identity through a multi-layered activation within Christian Louboutin’s Loubi World experience on Zepeto.
At its centre, Shudu appears as a fully realised avatar within Zepeto’s digital environment, styled in custom-designed garments and accessories created specifically for Shudu’s avatar. The activation extends beyond static imagery, positioning the virtual model as an active participant within a live, interactive fashion world where audiences can explore, engage, and respond in real time.
To expand the experience beyond the game environment, The Diigitals created a complementary social media editorial featuring Shudu wearing the same iconic Louboutin boots in a high-fashion CGI composition. This bridge between in-game presence and editorial imagery reinforces the fluid relationship between virtual spaces and contemporary fashion storytelling.

For this activation, Shudu’s presence in Loubi World was also guided through creative direction by writer Ama Badu, who engaged directly with the avatar experience to connect with audiences and shape the narrative voice of the digital character within the platform.
The project highlights a new form of fashion engagement, where virtual environments become spaces for interaction, performance, and brand storytelling. By combining gaming, social media, and digital fashion imagery, Loubi World demonstrates how luxury brands can extend their identity into fully immersive and participatory digital ecosystems.
