Lavie by CK x Miami Swim Week
AUG|2020 - Virtual Swimwear Collection
For Miami Swim Week 2021, at a time when the global fashion calendar was rapidly shifting toward fully digital presentation formats due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Diigitals reimagined the traditional runway experience through a fully virtual swimwear showcase for Lavie by CK.
The collection was developed in CLO3D, where each garment was digitally constructed to accurately replicate the movement, fit, and fluidity of real-world swimwear. These designs were then translated into DAZ3D, where they were brought to life on digital models and rendered into a cinematic fashion film that presented the collection as a fully realised runway experience within a virtual environment.

As physical shows were no longer possible in their traditional form, this project became part of a wider shift toward digital-first fashion weeks, where brands and creatives explored new ways of presenting collections remotely while maintaining visual impact and storytelling depth.
Alongside the film, the same 3D garment assets were also used to create high-quality e-commerce imagery, bridging editorial storytelling with commercial application. This allowed the collection to exist simultaneously as a cinematic fashion presentation and a functional digital product range.

In addition, the collection was released on the DAZ3D marketplace, enabling users to purchase and dress their own avatars in the Lavie by CK designs, extending the project into an interactive consumer experience within the growing digital fashion space.
The project reflects the convergence of runway, editorial, and commerce within digital environments. By combining CLO3D design precision with DAZ3D rendering and distribution, the Lavie by CK swimwear project demonstrates how virtual fashion can operate seamlessly across storytelling, production, and consumer engagement.
